The Spirit of ’76 – The Dead, Cookies, and a Pinball Wizard

This Saturday brings us to a classic Dead show. The Greatful Dead opened for The Who on this date whom played their rock opera Tommy. Apparently after the Dead played Townshend and the boys were less than captavating. My fiancé is planing on making some “cookies” today; I thought that this selection would prove appropriate. The Dead are playing in Oakland at Oakland Stadium October 9th 1976. I will see if I can find The Who’s performence somewhere as well. If it is indeed needed at all.
